Sonja White recently became a full-time agent at Camelot Properties, after working part-time with us for a few months. She has been married to Dewayne White for 13 years, and has a son name Dewayne White Jr. known as DJ. She is proving to be valuable member of the Camelot team, because she is very socialable, outgoing and she loves to smile! Sonja will draw in a lot of clients with her great personality.

What made you decide to become a real estate agent?

"I decided to become a real estate agent many years ago. I recently (2017) had a talk with my baby sister Tawanda about doing something that involves in helping others. I couldn’t attend the required classes until Jan. 2018. I attended Martin and Fellows Real Estate School. I completed the class in March 2018. I went to take the state real estate exam in April and passed it. (What an exciting day that was!!) Then decided to join Camelot Properties with Dustin Woodley.???????"

What is your favorite part of working in real estate?

"My favorite part of working in real estate is that I get to do what I love and that is to see a smile on my client's face at the closing table."

What was your most rewarding closing and why was it so rewarding?

"My most rewarding closing was the Armstrongs' because it was my very first closing. The day they walked into the office I knew it was going to be special. I told them that this was my first home sold and they were excited for me. The day I arrived for the final walk through, they were all smiles. I knew that my job was done."

What is your #1 piece of advice for people looking to buy and/or sell a home?

"My advice for the buyer is “Be upfront and the process will be rewarding at the end”."

What is your favorite thing to do in our tri-county area?

"My favorite thing to do is SHOP at the SHOPPES at EASTCHASE. I love to stroll along the stores with the nearby eatery."
